Sustainability Compact –
Between IAG and the NSW Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC)

By signing the Sustainability Compact IAG agreed to incorporate sustainable thinking into all business decisions and in turn the Government will provide IAG with greater access to resources and expertise that will help make our operations, supply chain and facilities even more environmentally sustainable.

Myopia: Short-termism as a Barrier to Corporate Sustainability

The biggest problem is that people talk about long-term changes but they can not put a financial value on them today. We have to be able to monetise future costs in today's terms.

IAG Submission to the Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change and Development

IAG considers that the seriousness of the threat of climate change warrants further action at the local, national and international level. Climate change is a global issue and it must therefore be addressed globally - national governments, communities and business must work together to deliver policy, markets and community action to achieve deep cuts in GHG emissions.
