Holders of IAG Ordinary shares may have been contacted by organisations that have offered to buy their shares at a price below the current market value.
The information below is designed to assist Australian resident holders who may want to increase their holding or sell their existing holding at the current market value but are unsure how to complete this process.
Non resident holders will need to contact a stock broker in their country of residence.
Trading via a stock broker
- IAG has three securities listed on the on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) and these securities may be purchased or sold through any stock broker. The shares listed on the ASX are:
- IAG—ordinary shares
- IAGPA—reset preference shares (RPS1)
- In addition, IAG’s wholly owned subsidiary IAG Finance (New Zealand) Limited has issued securities and these are listed on the ASX as:
- IANG—reset exchangeable securities (RES)

The ASX provides contact details of stock brokers who can arrange to purchase or sell any of these securities at the price they are trading on the stock exchange. You can contact the ASX on 1300 300 279 to obtain information about stock brokers or via the ASX website (by accessing this link you will be transferred to a third party site that is being provided for your convenience).
You may also wish to check your local telephone directory to contact a stock broker nearest to you.
