Building Australia’s resilience to natural disaster
11 April 2011IAG Managing Director and CEO, Mike Wilkins, has today given a speech to the Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA) to encourage greater focus on measures to build resilience to natural disaster. He believes Australia needs a co-ordinated approach that involves building a greater self-awareness of individual risk, a more efficient distribution of risk via insurance and adapting our built environment to reduce the impact of events when they do occur.
